Overview

According to LinkedIn Learning (2020), communication is the #1 in-demand skill in today’s job market. Organizations seek communication experts because they can make a critical difference in their workplaces' effectiveness and ability to connect with their communities. Speaking, listening and writing serve as conduits for idea generation, relationship building, advocacy and persuasion. A communication degree is valuable, flexible and offers several career possibilities.
